HAMPDEN HOUSE WEDDING WITH SARAH & OMAIR

We are so far behind on blogging the weddings from 2017! It was an absolutely awesome year, so we will slowly start filtering through some of the weddings that we have worked on.

We met Sarah & Omair via Hitched. They are a couple from two different cultural backgrounds, so they decided to embrace both sides by having a two day wedding. They also hired us for their Mehndi celebration, so in total we spent 3 days with Sarah, Omair and their loved ones.

The registry day was held at Hampden House wedding venue, a beautifully elegant country house in Buckinghamshire. Although it rained, the day was perfect and great fun. As confetti is not allowed on the premises, they used bubbles, which was so unique and gave a great effect. The second day was their Islamic ceremony, as Omair’s family are of Asian heritage. It was held at The Pavilion at Stockley Park in Middlesex. Both days were so different, it was lovely to be able to celebrate in two totally unique ways.

It was an absolute honour to share in Sarah and Omair’s wedding celebrations. All three days were full of so much emotion. It was clear to see how much love they have for each other. From the moment that we met them they have been nothing but warm and welcoming. We have felt like part of the family. Since delivering their images back, they have shown us continued support towards our business. This has meant the world to us. We still have good communication with them until today, which makes our job worthwhile.

We love forming a bond with the couples that we work with and getting to learn about their success in their married lives. Quite often we get to see couples climbing the property ladder and having children. In Sarah and Omair’s case, they are soon to be bringing a kitten home!

Here are some images from their first wedding event. Hampden House has generous grounds, with a few interesting features. This allowed us to have plenty of space to get creative for their couple shoot. The building itself is a great backdrop, inside and out.
