This blog post is following on from Nadhrah & Aaron’s engagement shoot and Islamic ceremony day. They had a formal wedding reception at the Grand Hyatt in Kuala Lumpur. This venue screams elegance, right in the heart of the city. The bridal suite is absolute perfection. With views of both KL Tower and the Petronas Twin Towers. The lighting was just beautiful in both the bridal suite and where Aaron was getting ready.

Carrying on their international theme, Nadhrah & Aaron decided not only to have family members and friends fly in from across the globe for their Grand Hyatt Kuala Lumpur Wedding. They hired us from the UK, Doodle Studio videographers, who are now based in Australia. Doodle shot Nadhrah’s sister, Diyanah’s, wedding alongside us as well. Nadhrah also decided to fly in John West as a surprise for Aaron from America. John West is Aaron’s favourite singer. Aaron didn’t know that John was actually performing on the day, until he saw John singing as he walked down the aisle!

They hired Adila Long, a super talented designer in Malaysia, to design the wedding outfits. These were traditional Malaysian Songket’s, with Adila Long’s unique twist. How beautiful and unique are the designs? We absolutely love that they went with completely different looks for each occasion. Wait until you see our next blog post, showcasing their UK reception!
