With Jo & Chris

We met Jo & Chris through an online wedding directory that we are on, called Hitched. We had a telephone call from Jo wanting to book us for both a pre wedding shoot and their wedding day. We met at Hand Picked Hotel‘s Fawsley Hall Hotel & Spa in Northamptonshire, for a consultation. This was where they had decided to have their pre wedding photographs taken. On the wedding day itself, I (Sonia) was dropped off by Simon at Fawsley Hall, this was where Jo was getting ready with her bridesmaids. I walked in the room and already found Jo and her mother in tears. Happy tears of course!

Simon then went off to meet Chris at their home near Kettering. It is always a relaxed environment when it comes to the guys side of the preparations. He was greeted with an introduction to their pet chameleon and it’s food. Simon decided it would be a good idea to incorporate their unique pet, somehow, into the ring shots!

There were so many individual touches to this wedding day. Jo’s brother made their wedding cake and Jo’s mother walked her down the aisle. There were many tears, but this just made the day that much more beautiful, you could truly see how perfect Jo & Chris are together.
