With Jenna & Faizal

We love multi cultural weddings ,as couples bring in parts of their culture that they enjoy and it ends up forming it’s own. Jenna is part Pakistani and part Yemeni. Faizal is of Pakistani heritage. Jenna & Faizal had already performed their Islamic ceremony but were to celebrate their legal registry with a wedding reception in Digbeth, Birmingham.

As Jenna wears an Islamic veil, the hijab, they had a couple shoot at her family home in a traditional white wedding dress, without her veil. We are unable to show these images due to her religious beliefs. They then changed into their Asian attire for the celebrations. Followed by another outfit change, whilst at the wedding venue.

There were some aspects to the day which were segregated. During these moments, Simon covered the men’s side and Sonia photographed the women’s. Due to the segregation and women being unveiled, we have shared the images that we can, whilst giving the due respect to everyone’s beliefs.
