An Intimate Asian Wedding in Birmingham

Aminah & Sajid hired us for two days worth of wedding celebrations. The first day was a smaller occasion, hosted by Aminah’s family. An intimate meal with family and close friends at Tipu Sultan Restaurant, where Aminah fell in love with the traditional Indian swing.

Being a very family orientated couple, the main priority for Aminah was to have fun with her loved ones and for the children in the family to also have a good time.

On arrival, Aminah’s friends were dressing the room. The table centre pieces were shop bought and all ‘DIY’ jobs. They looked absolutely beautiful.

Falling in line with asian wedding traditions, Aminah arrived first and sat with her family on the stage. The family do not allow Sajid to sit until he and his family have paid a certain amount. There was a lot of banter back and forth until Sajid’s brother pulled out some scissors from his pocket to cut the bow so that Sajid can sit down.

On this day we did the couple shoot within the venue, as they have lovely interiors with a cross between traditional and elegant.

Although it was a more modest affair, this pair had to turn up in lovely cars! Aminah arrived in a Mercedes Maybach and Sajid had a white Ferrari. They then left in the Ferrari, with the top down. It started tipping down once we had left, so we hope they managed to stop off to put the top back up.
